1. What we collect
- Account data — email address and display name (via Firebase Authentication).
- Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers; we keep only a Stripe customer reference, card brand and last four digits, and payment history.
- Gameplay data — characters, actions, chat messages, and transactions inside the game world.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and usage analytics (Google Analytics).
2. How we use it
To run the game, process subscriptions, prevent cheating and abuse, provide support, and understand how the game is used. We do not sell personal information.
3. Where it lives
Data is stored on Google Cloud Platform in Australia (region australia-southeast1). Payments are processed by Stripe; authentication by Google Firebase; analytics by Google Analytics. Each processes data under its own privacy terms.
4. Chat and public content
In-game chat and character names are visible to other players. Don't share personal information in chat.
5. Retention and deletion
Game data is kept while your account exists. You can request account deletion (including personal data, subject to records we must keep for tax and fraud-prevention purposes) by emailing support@deathwalk.ai. Backups roll off within 7 days.
6. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act (and the GDPR where it applies), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.
